Sea n’ B, Barefoot Man’s regular back up crew at Nippers and in the studio, make a special appearance with their up-tempo version of "IKO-IKO" and even a Barefoot offspring (son Nick) contributes his garage studio version of "THE SEA OF ABACO" to this album.  You may note some slight hissy, poppy nostalgia sounds in the song "FIRE FOR YOU" – this reggae tune was originally recorded in 1973 in Kingston, Jamaica and released on a 45 rpm single. The single was purchased by a fan for $1.00 – Barefoot bought it back from the fan 35 years later for an undisclosed amount. Typical Barefoot Man – always going against the grain… since when does the recording artist buy his own music from the same person he sold it to? Go Figure!
